Like Al3x said above, it's not possible without a plugin... YET.
With the 1.4 patch introducing the new command block, you could essentially create a warp button/pressure pad that would teleport a person from point A to point B. However I have not tested this is multiplayer, but from what I see it could be extremely possible.
