How to make a server Unique?

If u want to be noticed in server lists and be 'Unique' don't run a Faction server.
about 5.000.000.000.000.000.000 faction serversd are made. Factions is not Unique and It doesn't matter how nice spawn you have and such, Nice banner. You will not be noticed

Well first of all, if its a NETWORK it has a bunjeecord, with multiple servers from your host.

NETWORKS ARE NOT ONE SERVER WITH LIKE CREATIVE WORLD WITH FACTIONS ETC.

THAT IS NOT A NETWORK, THATS A DUMB SERVER.

Just saying, but stuff that other servers dont.

Also GOOD BUILDING IS KEY.

If you want your server to be "Unique", it needs to fill a niche.
Your server should offer something you would like to see on other servers, but you've never found. and I am NOT talking about "factions.. but with GUNS"

If you want to be Unique, you really need to find a good idea that YOU think is awesome, and it has to be an idea that other servers;
- A: Simply dont have.
- B: Dont do well.

I hope you're serious about making a server and that it gets to be Unique

A Network by definition is: several servers connected to each other.
So if you are running 3 different server machines using BungeeCord,
THATS WHEN YOU CAN CALL YOURSELF A NETWORK.

Yes..

To make a server unique, as mentioned above, don't use factions. Or if you do make it COMPLETELY different from most servers. There are way to many faction servers out there as of now, and adding one to the bunch won't be such a good idea unless you have a good idea to attract people. If you have an awesome idea that'll make it unique, go for it. If not I wouldn't stick with factions. I hope you take this into consideration, and once you get your server up I'd like to have the IP to play on it.

Factions = Unoriginal and low chance of success
Networks = All beginning to be the same now.

Essentially, you want to make a completely new/original gamemode, and invest all your time and money into that one gamemode to make it the best. That way, you can then expand on the growth of the server that you worked hard on.

An example of this working is The Shotbow Network (It was huge before Hypixel) - They spent a whole year on MineZ, and then that was a massive success, so they branched out, and then did the same to the new gamemodes, and so on.

You cannot expect your server to instantly be successful, or have success within the first 2 months. It takes time and dedication.

"Servers don't last forever. Minecraft is a forever changing game, and back when MineZ was created, it was a phenomenal use of servers in order to create a game inside of a game like that, where 100s could play at the same time.

Right, well this is making no sense now, but the general points are:
- DON'T MAKE A GOD DAMN FACTIONS SERVER
- Do something different from other servers.
