How much RAM do I need?

I'm starting a new server and I want to know how much RAM I should get for my server. It will have at least 6 worlds, several plugins (18 I think) including multiverse-core and portals, a pvp plugin, essentials and an anti-grief plugin. I want it to allow at least 30 to 40 people. I am buying this server so don't worry.

This website lets you calculate how many players you're able to host with x amount of RAM and internet speed.

i have the same amount of plugins, plus the same plugins running in my server. Lag free with 1.5GB of ram. Keep in mind that it also depends on the host you are buying from. Make sure you research into it
i had somewhat the same setup on my old server except i had 50 plugins and i got by on 4GB of ram w/ 20 people on (that server went down and i made a new one though)
Start with 1 GB then upgrade as needed. If you are going to use a game server provider or a VPS, it should be simple to upgrade, at most just a restart.
