HOW TO PING ONLINE PLEASE ANSWER

hi, i have a non-hamachi server, and i posted it on the website.
1. It doesn't show up in my server list, and when i try and put a new post up about it it says to edit the old one which i can't find
2. IT WON'T PING ONLINE no matter what i do or who i ask, i just can't get it to ping as online, even though it is?
HELP PLEASSSE
