Hello. I am setting up a private vanilla server for me and my friends. I have done all the steps, but when I get to portforwarding.com, there is not an option for my type of router.

My router is an: ARRIS TG862

If you have any idea on how to portforward this type of router, please let me know. Thanks!

No, I mean in the "Virtual Servers" thing.

If you are using virtual servers, then set it to your ipv4 address, found via cmd/ipconfig or terminal/ifconfig

What do I set the "Private IP Address" to though? That's all I'm stuff on.

You mean in the server.properties file? Leave it blank.

Should be the same basic idea as any router. Open the default gateway via your browser (which you can find in the console/terminal using either ipconfig or ifconfig), and then after logging in go to any type of port management option.

Don't forget to check your firewall(s) as well!

@Taz_ninja1 I already have a public Bukkit server that I bought the host for. I am trying to set up a vanilla one for just me and my friends in real life. But thanks for the suggestion.

@GroznaDeva Hmm, thanks, but I can't pay for that. XD
