Ok, so I really cant stand 1.9 and 1.10 pvp, and I was wondering if there was a way to put 1.8.9 pvp in 1.10? I've seen this done in hypixel before, but I dont know how to do it. I want to play survival without the pain staking pvp of 1.9 and 1.10! Is there redstone or commands for it, or what do you have to do?

Still not sure why you would want that. Just stick with 1.9 combat.
For vanilla you could effect everyone with haste 4 but I'm not sure if you want players to be digging fast or not.
/effect @a minecraft:haste 100000 3 true
Theres a plugin called "OldCombatMechanics" which allows you to pvp as you would in 1.8 on a 1.9 or 1.10 server
I recommend you just use the fixed combat in 1.9 for obvious reasons.
