So I make resource packs and I want to animate the Elytra. I just don't know how to do that..... Is it even possible with or without mods?

ok, but it just says it's possible with mcpatcher but doesn't say how. I know how to do this for items and blocks
its quite literally the documentation on how to do it
It says more about items and blocks than how to make entities
Line 14 explains that this isnt needed for blocks and items.
Line 16-78 is about how to create animations. In line 10 it specifically mentions this allows entity animations.
Please actually read the documentation before whining about it.

in first glance it seemed the same as the item and block one but anyway i dont even have that folder -
