How to fix "missing texture block"
hi, i'm making a texture pack and some ore have the problem of missing texture, that show a black and pink block, i cant understand it because some "ore block" are textured and other nope, despite they are the same ore. how can i fix it?

well youll need the texture to be in the minecraft/textures/[example] folder
if you make an ore (say gold) and export it to desktop and open it in blockbench or whatever and model it, youll have to not only export model but copy gold_ore.png to the above folder

The texture isn't found, or has a problem like an image is corrupted or not mapped correctly.
The texture block you're describing is an easter egg to GMod (Garry's Mod) that loads when the image isn't found or has a problem.
Make sure you check out the files of your texture/resource pack to make sure there might be a problem there.
