How to stop "drifting" in java 1.19 creative

The drift is a major problem for me. I play Minecraft for therapy after a stroke I had in 2019.. I can't even place blocks correctly because of it. Is there a way to turn it off? Thank you.

I use a client side mod called tweekaroo where you can adjust acceleration and deceleration values. Some servers detect the mod as a hack, so be warned.
