I want to update my bukkit server and this is the first update. I know that i have to wait for the new craftbukkit but how are others already on 1.5 if it isn't out yet. Please HELP

You should really read the information before you post it because that is from 2011 and is for Minecraft BETA 1.5 there is no 1.5 Bukkit yet until they make it.

It's a trick, there is no 1.5 Bukkit yet. There's a loophole with the latest 1.4.7 release that allows users with 1.5 to connect, so they're still actually running 1.4.7
You can't use any of the new blocks or any of the other new features of 1.5 because it is in fact still 1.4.7 crafting is also more difficult and it's actually more unstable and glitchy making it seemingly a downgrade from the stable 1.4.7 release that most are still using.
Some will say talented coders/programmers built their own version and it's protected by an elder council (not kidding), others will tell you it's a secret, it's nothing more than a trick. If you'd like to do this trick you can get everything you need here http://www.spigotmc.org/

its a trick. i am currently using it. it's just something you learn along the way but its a secret that not many will tell.
