Hello! I have been trying to download a texture pack and when i go into it it has nothing about downloading the texture pack. please help!

what texturepack are u trying to download? and is it showing in ur downloads or what? also have u checked the data of the texture pack like is there even anything in there does it have a pack.mcmeta and a pack.png it could also hide in ur quick acces whatever its called my last question are u on windows mac or lunix or others?
