I am a big fan of Minecraft creepypastas, and therefore I explore old versions of Minecraft often. This time, I decided to go explore version 1.0.16. If some of you are herobrine nerds, then you will know that this was a similar version to the version in which herobrine was discovered. I was pretty disappointed when I found out it wasn't in the launcher. Until one day, I stumbled across this video

I downloaded the version from betacraft and launched the game. When I launched the game, the splash text said the word "Freaky" I barely even noticed, but maybe it had for shadowed an idea of what would happen next...
When I joined the game, I immediately heard cave ambience, even before the world loaded in, but I was not in a cave, nor near one. Since cave ambience was new at the time, I just guessed that it was a glitch. Still, something wasn't right with the world. The world took a while to render every chunk I entered. I kept thinking I saw a zombie, skeleton, or some other humanoid entity while the world was still rendering, but I just assumed it was a mob with its animations still loading in. After a while of walking around, I almost had a heart attack. I was standing where the original herobrine screenshot had taken place. I had the same seed. I didn't know whether to be scared or excited. I love creepypastas and ARGs, but I felt like I was in one. Suddenly, my screen froze, and the fog setting was turned on. I thought my game crashed, but around 15 seconds after the freeze, the fog turned back off, and the freezing stopped. A millisecond before it started, I could have sworn I saw a player joining message, because the text was yellow, and I caught the word "game" in the message before it disappeared.
I checked the chat log, but I didn't see any join messages. But I KNOW there was something. I searched the world for a few days, to try to find anything unusual, but I didn't see anything. Since I was in the herobrine seed I kept eyes out for things like 2x2 tunnels, trees without leaves, and pyramids. On Minecraft day #5, I decided to leave the creepy world forever, not finding anything wierd for a while. Just as I was about to click save and close, my game crashed, and turned off. But just before the game closed on me, I saw a player with a jumbled steve skin running at me at full sprint. I was afraid of what would happen next, so I'm glad it crashed.
This is a recreation of the skin I saw. I was not able to take a screenshot, but I recreated to the best of my memory.

I do not know whether the player/entity had a nametag, but I presume not. After the freakish encounter, I sat in my chair questioning the incident and what I should do next. I decided to check the game logs, but when I was in the minecraft folder, the log wasn't there. I assumed that since it was a different minecraft build, it would be in a different folder. After an hour of checking the files, I did not find the logs. I was really confused. A few minutes later, I accidentally miss clicked, and exited the minecraft folder. Then, I found a folder with no name. An untitled folder. I opened it, questioning if my files were corrupted. I finally found the log file. After attempting to open it, the whole log was replaced with the words "DEATH COMES TO THOSE WHO SEEK IT"
After I saw that disturbing statement, I knew now that what I encountered was a person in my world. I was wondering how that was possible because I was playing single player. Multiplayer was new at the time, so maybe single player wasn't closed circuit he got in to my world. If that wasn't closed circuit, then maybe my location information wasn't either. I remember that Minecraft wasn't very secure back then, and they didn't fix the old updates, just made new ones with fixes. That night I laid in bed the whole night with my phone, wide awake, ready to call the police at any sound downstairs. The next day, I received a email from a user who was called "Death Reaper" who just said "hello". He never messaged me again after that. This scared me to fricking death. I was sure that this was the same person on the Minecraft world. 2 days later, I discovered that my phone service stopped working. I have no idea why. All I feel like is my impending death is coming. I have been getting multiple DMs on Discord saying the end is near. I have been blocking all the accounts, but it is still overwhelming.
Right now, I'm typing this story on my laptop. It's 12:00 at night, and I cannot sleep. I am too paranoid about what is going to happen to me. It's been too long since an incident, and that scares me. I feel like something very bad is going to happen very soon. I will post edits when something else happens, or a vid to my channel.
