Ideas for puzzles needed!

Maybe make a lever contraption that requires a certain input which gives you an answer. Have several of these, and at the end the player uses all the answers from the previous machines to answer the final riddle.

I like making puzzles with a fishing rod. so, pressure plates that when clicked open up the next platform. like that.

Just saying, if you can't think of your own ideas for a puzzle map then don't make a puzzle map. It is silly to ask others for ideas when there's basically nothing stopping them from using their ideas themselves.

I get what you mean, but I don't fully agree with you. There is nothing to stop them if you ignore the fact that a lot of people don't know how to use commandblocks. And yes a lot of puzzles can be made without commandblocks, but they do help in making the puzzles a lot more interesting and professional. But yeah you do have a point, I'm just too damn uncreative xD. Sorry for my bad English by the way :/.

Maybe some riddle type puzzles, but where you have to solve the riddle to find out what to do, not to input the answer.

Uhmm, some water puzzle, or quizzes, since they are very popular, maybe some "grammar" tests or something like that, or time-pressuring puzzles of sorts.
