First of all, "yaaaaay you're back" if anyone even remembers me. Yeah, I'm back into Minecraft and such. Which of course means I need to boot a server back up again, because I can't be bothered to search around and find a server managed the way I like them. Which leads me to a poll/brainstorming thread.
How do you like to play on a server?
Any cool ideas you have for a server?
Because yeah. I'm setting up a server. I just don't know what I want to do with it.

i think you should make it with free diamonds
I totally agree. Shower the noobs with diamonds and ruin the game early
do a survival with spleef
Oh yeah, war and death sounds pretty fu**ing sweet.
I would like to help you on the server you are trying to make.
I would enjoy building or something. My ideas are: survival craft, creative (land plots), and factions.

Yeah, that was a bit vague. I'm more shooting for the simple- "I like playing cooperative survival with the occasional war!" or "Violent painful death pvp with no mercy!" Thanks for the input, though.
Ideas
Towny
Factions
Strong Economy
Shops (physical and virtual)
Spout!
SpoutTrade
Lockette (gotta have it or you get your rage quitters :/
What I like?
I can't stand a vanilla server so that's out. I love servers with a semi-large community with owners that aren't greedy and are just expanding for a rise in donations profits. A mature staff that knows what they're doing (absolutely essential, I'd say no staff under 14). Finally a few good unique plugins that were developed by someone that had a clue where they were going with it.
