Insane lag spike when loading the world chunks

I've faced a problem with the chunks. So basicly when I enter a world it gets extremely laggy and unplayable for at least 2 minutes until all the chunks are loaded in. After that the game runs smoothly. But I only have this problem in Single Player, whether I join a server there is no lag at all. I tried to set all kinds of render distances but none of the changes seem any difference. I've put optifine in the game as well and set all kinds of performance fixing options in video settings but doesn't make any change. Any way of fixing this lag spike because it is killing me when I enter my world?
