Hi, this is my 1st post so might seem simple what I need, I am running minecraft which has versions 1.7.4, 1.7.2, 1.6.4 and 1.6.2 I am launching minecraft with team extreme 3.1.4
I am trying to install galacticraft, have downloaded several version for 1.7.2 and 1.6.4 have tried forge downloads and micdoodle and searched youtube all day but cant get anything to work.
any help would be appriciated

with the galacticraft mod I can create a new world and everything I need will be in that world, is that correct please. If so I understand how it works, if not im 3 steps backwards lol
ok I think I might be on the right lines now, how do I build the rocket and fly to the moon, will all the items I need be in a new world if I create one?
I think the clips I have seen they have all the items in their inventory and have all the chests together. Am I on the wrong note about this or do I need a different mod?

As for the mods page, that is normal.
The mods do not come with worlds, you would have to create one after installing the mods if thats what you mean.

when I open the mods page I can see the 3 files which are installed with forge and my mods that I put in the mod folder, I can click on them and it displays information but all I can select is the done button.
when I go to single player it has no worlds and have to create one is this correct?

Try manually download and installing "Galacticraft-1.6.4-2.0.7.904", "Galacticraft-Planets-1.6.4-2.0.7.904", and "MicdoodleCore-1.6.4-2.0.7.904"
I use them and they seem to work fine, mostly. (Parachutes and air helmet work, but are not rendered.)

the modded worlds do not show in the select world part
I have installed forge and Galacticraft Mod Installer 1.6.4.exe
When I check my mods folder I have 3 files
Galacticraft-1.6.4-2.0.2.814
Galacticraft-Planets-1.6.4-2.0.2.814
MicdoodleCore-1.6.4-2.0.2.814
these were installed automatically, now when I launch 1.6.4 profile forge it loads game ok, has a mod folder with 6 items but I cant play them, I have to create a new world

Assuming you put galacticcraft and micdoodle core in the mods folder, what happens when you launch minecraft?
Is it not detected, of does MC crash?
