Io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$AnnotatedConnectExpectation: Connection Refused: no further information.

I have started getting an error message saying 'io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$AnnotatedConnectExpectation: Connection Refused: no further information.' when trying to join an SMP I had joined. It only started yesterday and I have been playing fine on the server for around a month.
