Java Downloaded but Minecraft Says Otherwise
So a couple of months ago my computer broke so I've been having to use my dads but I can't play Minecraft, when I go to download it, it says requires a run time of 16.0 Java Script but it says I have the latest Java downloaded in my control panel... so I tried re-downloading it but it wont download it says it can't be completely downloaded. I've tried downloading both offline and online so could someone help?

Koslaw99Uninstall all things Java related. When that is done, go here: http://java.com and install Java. Then reboot the computer. Problem fixed.
I've already done this and it has not worked and for the rest of you, I have.
Did you install the wrong version 32 bit vs 64bit
32bit Java works with 64bit Windows. I know because I'm using it right now.
