I have a server through minecraft realms and have added a few datapacks to it (1.18), because the server is through mojang do I need to run the JMV start up command code? And does anyone know if datapacks are affected by the new java exploit? Would they need to be removed or updated to prevent compromising the computer?

just use openjdk/adoptium on the newest version (thats supported by the version of minecraft you want to use) and your safe. the java version that ships with minecraft by default is so old it was around when dinosaurs were roaming the earth
