I just downloaded the Java installer. Every time I go to install the game and try to launch the launcher it say “Couldn’t load launcher core from ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Launcher\game\launcher.doll’: LoadErrorNotPresent”
Then it says “Unable to start the Minecraft Runtime Environment. This is most likely caused by a corruption. Please try to reinstall Minecraft”.
Every time I install it and check the files there is nothing there except the Minecraft Launcher and a file called “game” with nothing in it.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times, including with my anti-virus and firewall down. I updated my gpu drivers. I’m running an Alienware 17 with an i7, 64GB of Ram, and GTX 1070.
