Hello all,
So as the title says; I'm having the following problem:
I am trying to connect to my server (Which I have never accessed before, as I was at school when I got the server) but everyone else can access it. The server is for my build team, and no one else seems to be getting this problem - so I can not connect to the server.
It gives me the following error: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused:
Please help if you can!

I believe you would get a "Unknown Host" error instead of OP's error, no?
well as ive expirienced with some errors of my plugins the refusal apears on exceptions and whens erver's net functions are edited/changed/added for instance back in the old 1.6.4 with a client side packet (60) i managed to make my self unable to join the server because of the packet injection :/ so by then i stoped using packets

I believe you would get a "Unknown Host" error instead of OP's error, no?
Well not if no-ip nullrouted it to 127.0.0.1 or similar in that case it'll be connection refused as it'll be trying to ping localhost on a port that doesn't have a listening service but yea if they deleted the record completely it would be either 'Unknown Host' or 'Name not Resolved'

Good evning, by the desc you gave i can understand that the server disalows you to conect.. try:
1 restarting router
2 check if server is online
3 contact their administration.

Is this the only server that you're having this problem on?
Yes, I seem to be able to connect to every server but this.
I had this problem a while back and fixed it simply by unplugging my modem/router for about 10 seconds and plugging it back in. If you can't do that right now the error usually goes away by itself after a few hours.
I can't turn of my modem/router as my brothers are using the internet right now, and the error has been since yesterday so according to you it should have corrected itself Please help
