I don't think your computer knows where your Java installation is. Go into your Environment Variables and set "PATH" to the /bin folder of wherever you installed Java.

Alright:
I'm assuming you're running Windows 7 or higher.

Open the explorer and right-click on "Computer" or "This PC".

Click on "Properties".

In the window that opens, click on "Advanced system settings" in the left navbar.

Click on "Environment Variables" in the window that opens.

Find "Path" in System Variables, add a semicolon and append the directory of your /bin Java folder.

what do u mean by "add a semicolon and append the directory of your /bin Java folder."

I mean:

Double-click on the "Path" variable.

At the end of the text, add a semicolon and append the directory.

Assuming you have 64-bit Java 7 or 8, the path would be

;C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin

or

;C:\Program Files\Java\jre8\bin

Oh! Just change "jre6" to "jre7" and you're good to go.

Huh...

Try installing Java to a different directory and use that path.

You could also try Java 8.

It doesn't matter where.

Place it in a new folder titled "Java" next to your Program Files?
