This is about 1.15, before 1.16 snapshots.
I am trying to edit some village structures and the jigsaw blocks act on a very strange and sometimes unclear way.
First at all, the most strange thing is that the Target Pool sometimes has missing folders. Some village structures use minecraft:village/taiga/decor – a non-existing folder. However, it still allows the jigsaw block to draw structures from invisible places.
Another thing is jigsaw blocks with minecraft:empty target pool. Why is this even needed? You could just add the block directly.
I hope someone has answers, because the internet doesn't seem to have.
