JRE 1.6.0?
Whenever I click on the MC launcher, it says I need Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0 It then opens up this page: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
I downloaded it, it didn't do anything. I tried doing some other stuff (deleting stuff, updating some things, and redownloading the launcher), but those didn't seem to help. What can I do about this?

Open up command prompt/terminal and type "java -version" (Without the quotes, obviously).

I believe that is the download you want, it includes runtime and the JDK.
If it does say your java version, I am not sure why it's not working.
