Just bought the game

Hello! I have just bought the game after using classic minecraft for a long time (5 years... how sad) and now I go into my shiny new 1.7.2 launcher and it gives me the white screen error.

Could somebody please help me, I won minecraft in a small AFL bet of who would win a match

checked your profie and you have texture packs on which classic does not allow on the browser so you obviously do have minecraft, not only that but there is a bed in your massive bedroom post you made 4 MONTHS AGO and beds weren't added til' alpha so please do not lie about having the game for 5 years.


Some guy made a minecraft classic browser that allows texture packs...

Cree... I made that bed... I've had the game since Alpha and I thought alpha came out in 2007, so Im sorry I must've been mistaken.

My minecraft now works, but it takes about 10 minutes to load the menu screen. Music starts immediately, picture comes 10mins after. I have a 16GB Ram computer, this should not be taking this long! :/

5 years? No,taking in the fact minecraft wasn't out for 5 years and the fact that minecraft was only avaialable til' alpha so there is no way you had classic minecraft for 5 years. Now the error log have you tried deleting your .minecraft and re-downloading the launhcher, that helped me at first so it may for you, if that doesn't work I don't know if I can suggest anything else.

Yeah, theres a lot of launcher and new stuff on Classic. Now that it was moved almost completely from Minecraft.net people created things like Classicube that allow skins and texturepacks ect

Classic Minecraft O.o? According to your posts on your profile you have a texture pack on, I don't think classic allows that ...
