Knightcraft Quite Enjoyeable

I just thought as part of a shameless plug for a server i'm enjoying playing on i'd do a review.
Although not a 24/7 server like some other more professional servers out there knightcraft has weened it's way into my heart for the simplicity of an almost vanilla minecraft experience with a relaxed medievil tone.
It's not strictly an RPG server and quite small at the moment, but grief is well dealt with and the use of simple plugins creates a great safe experience.
The only real downside to knightcraft atm is it's lack of monsters that doing without leaves threat completely to the winds as you delve recklessly deeper trying to rap.. ahem dredge the world of it's precious resources.
In some servers this can be a major problem as towns grow into cities and people mine extensively larger areas than their own plot of land.
Most servers i see these days use factions to deal with land issues, but i personally detest factions.
Faction based servers hold protected land ownership based on how many mooks you can convince to sign into your clan, whereas casual mature gamers like myself like to explore the world then come back and build one thing after anouther.
In fact i have been part of a two man team enhancing a naturally generated port town before.
Well under factions and pvp that would not of occured because i would of not been able to protect enough chunks and hence the docks and lighthouse, the kid distant barons keep might have been destroyed by constant grieving.
While there are lots of strict ways to do things the best advice almost everyone will ever give you through life is this K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple stu~id).
Knightcraft is an evolving server with lots of hard work being put into it by it's creators, it has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly admins & mods.
What more can one ask for.
