Hey, as you may have noticed I recently posted about youtube however that stuff didnt work, now I need help with a problem I need sorting out, LAG! I have a rubbish computer and im not allowed to buy a new one. ): I need help so I dont have lag I will post the specs below

Intel Pentium CPU987 @ 1.5GHz
8GB(RAM)
64-Bit Operating System
500GB HDD

Its a laptop and It is an Acer Aspire V5-431-987B8G5Oass
At the moment Single Player I get 30-40FPS
Most Servers: 10-25FPS (I usually play Multiplayer)
All In All I need help removing lag, PLEASE HELP!

What are your optifine settings?
i dont think you need a new computer. by the looks of it, everything seems fine except your processor. minecraft runs on your processor as well as the gpu. if you want to play minecraft with decent fps, ur gonna have to spend some dough

No, you're at your hardware limits. The only way to make it faster, is to get newer hardware, but as you have a laptop, you can't upgrade it, so you're gonna need a new computer.

2. If 1 doesn't work, try a new world?
3. If 2 doesn't work and its laggy on your computer too, do a virus scan.

I have tried optifine and still use it and the most ive hit is 71 in the void -_-

You're lucky to get that high, you're using an older cpu, that has an older igpu. Are you using optifine? That's the only thing I can suggest, other then that, you'll have to deal with it, or somehow get a new computer.
