Hi! I really want to record minecraft videos but I cant seem to do it because I lag way too much and I cant afford a new PC so it would be really apriciatted if someone can please help me?.
On my mac, my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
These are my settings. No video ever works for me, It helps a bit but it's still way too laggy. Ps. I got optifine (1.7.10) too.

Looking at your 3rd screenshot.
Turn on: "Fast math", "Fast render" and "smooth FPS". Maybe turn off "Load Far".
Now see what happens.
Btw in the animations, only "animated textures" and "animated items" have an effect on FPS (and lava animated not to "dynamic", but to "on", as this let's your FPS drop too I believe)

You have 2 gb's of ram. Default for MC is 1gb. You use a mac.

Ya, I use a mac (Saving up for a razor custom) anyways, I have 4GB ram on it it runs smoothly 100FPS straight and recording is fine 2GB is too low though get at least 3.5GB Ram
What do you use to record tho? Is quicktime good or should I get screenflow?
Unless you're dead set on using whatever recording device you have, you can check out Razor Game Booster. Game Booster alone is suppose to help your games performance and in your case it comes with some type of in game recorder.
I had the game booster before but I never used the recorder thingy so cant say how good it is. Might be worth a shot for ya.

Ty but its not out for mac. Thanks for trying to help anyway. All I know that when its time to get a new computer, I will not get a mac.

I'm using quicktimeplayer. I'm not sure if it is the recording program tho. Without recording i get 30-50fps and when i record i get like 9-15fps
