I'm running a vanilla skyblock world on LAN with my brothers. It was working fine but then suddenly had unbearable lag both on the host computer and the others. The only change to the world was the addition if half an iron farm without any villagers yet. Restarting computers and router didn't do anything. The internet has been sketchy lately though, but I can't imagine why this would affect a LAN server. Does someone know what's going wrong?

The plugin that allows composters to drop dirt was the problem. I simply deleted it because you can get dirt another way. Now the world works fine.
