Launcher installations disappeared?

So I was gonna go play minecraft after I restarted my pc (it was being slow af idk why) but after I restarted my pc and opened up the launcher, all my installations (vanilla, and modded) just.. disappeared? This hasn't had many major effects but I want to see if this has happened to anyone else or could be from something worse?

I had a situation, where my pc was very laggy and one moment it froze, I was playing on the ps1 emulator and when I reopened the game after the crash, all my saves where gone.
If you have the option of restoring(windows has it), so try if it is possible

Im sorry to say that it didn't happened to me. Which is good for me but bad for your trough
