Hey everyone! I've been having problems with my Minecraft launcher.Recently I have updated my Minecraft launcher,and now when I go to load it,it take about 25 minutes or more.I play on mac if that's helpful.Any help?

I have an OS X Yosemite version of the iMac. It is version 10.10

No it is not my internet. I am reinstalling to launcher to see if it works better.
Good news! I reinstalled the launcher and it now works! Thank you to all who tried to fix this.
