Before anyone suggests anything, I have done everything there is to do. I've deleted and reinstalled Minecraft many times, I have switched mice, ended all unnecessary processes, restored my computer to before the problem was happening, reinstalled java, etc. Also, my computer is MORE than enough to handle Minecraft above 60 FPS with an x256 texture pack and max settings: 8gb 1600 RAM, i5 3570 3.4ghz CPU, GTX660Ti GPU, etc. Not an AMAZING build but that isn't the problem.
Essentially, one day the Minecraft launcher just decided not to work anymore. It'll start, load, but once it's up, nothing in the window can be clicked. If the mouse hovers over it, buttons will highlight as if they could be clicked, but nothing happens if I actually click. I have played a host of other games, including java games, with absolutely no issues. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Or, preferably, a loophole to get around it?

Problem isn't really solved , but I'm glad you can play minecraft now!
Actually, after messing with a few hotkeys, I managed to finally find a way to activate buttons in the window without using a mouse! No more influence needed. Forgive the inconvenience.
There should be a log for the launcher, I've seen it before. But you're right, it's not the latest.txt file, that's just for the actual game
Have you tried vanilla? Using no mods/plugins/pack/anything additional. Then slowly add them back 1 at a time to see which one or which combination is possibly causing problems.
I almost always play vanilla. I have nothing but the launcher right now.
It doesn't exist. Remember, I can't click "Play" so therefore I cannot download the actual game. I had attempted to re-download the launcher which, in turn, deletes all previous game files. That can't be the problem anyways, because it doesn't exist. Anything else that might help?
