Launcher won't open

For some reason when I tried to log on to my Minecraft, the Launcher wouldn't even open, there are no error messages, nothing. i can't figure out what's going on, I've deleted my .minecraft folder, uninstalled and reinstalled java. But nothing is working, any help please?
