Login Failure (Not the Demo version)

Hello,
I'm am a total noob at the moment. I played the demo. Loved it, so naturally I bought a game card after, so I can have the full version. So, I registered the game with the redeem code and yet it all I am getting is "Login Fail". Now, I just bought it only about two hours ago. What is the problem? Someone else must have experienced this and I'm looking for someone who can tell me.
My gratitude would be great towards anyone who can help me resolve this.

You typed you username/password wrong. If you click play offline, you can play Minecraft, but you cannot play on a server.
If you have forgotten either one, email Mojang

Did you type your username and password correctly? (If you did it would let you play offline.) Also is your connection good?
