hello, im new to minecraft, saw a youtube video on minecraft and quickly was captivated by the game. im pretty much a noob as i've only been playing a week or so, but have gravitated to creative mode. i have some good design ideas and was hoping to make the time go by quicker by having someone to talk *^@# to while we mess around building things. i do own a vent server, so if you'd like the info email me at sydiam@hotmail.com

ok meltzen... as you said, you are new to the game... i would like to help you out with a bit of mandatories when playing online...also i think i may be interested in helping... so heres the list...
1: SKYPE!: you must have one...mostly everyone prefers to use skype rather than msn...msn is dead dude... and there are a couple ways you can get fellow active minecrafters to join your friends list.. one is to whore yourself out (post your skype name in your forum post) i do not reccomend this approach as you WILL be spammed by random people.....and the second is to not add it into your post, but to say to your forum viewers to only reply if interested in such an idea, and to pm(post message) to you to add you on skype, i reccommend this step
2 SERVER!: you must remember that is kind of difficult to have a nicely running server, and that if your partner cannot, you must be able to, if you do not know how to do this i can walk you through this.
i would also reccomend that you and your game partner(s) use the same texture pack as one another, just because the game will look different to one another and maybe something that looks amazing to one person might look like complete shit to another because they r using different texture packs.......

p.s. you dont need a webcam for skype, you dont even need a microphone, but it is prefferred by many that they can actually talk to you in voice......i would reccomend u have a mic...
btw..i am really good at making ruins... amazing at many things in the game for building... but the one thing i really suck at is pixel art....but yeah....im ok at redstone...i can do the simple, opening doors, playing music with noteblocks...etc...doorbells are great...i can do that
