Low FPS help

SetSailForFailWell I've got a low end computer and when I say low end I mean it. I know I shouldn't be getting very many FPS in Minecraft, and I don't. I'm still curios though, is there any way I can boost my FPS? I've tried optifine and messing with all in-game settings such as render distance ECT.

***I've never posted my specs and I'm not sure if these are the correct ones, also what computer component in my case would increase FPS? RAM? A new video card? Thanks in advance!

im not a genius of any sort with gigahert processors or whatever, but have you ever tried mods? if not, there simple.

Just get Magic Launcher 1.0.0 ( a launcher for MC), then download optifine mod and fps++ mod.

To get Magic Laucher and Optifine mod, just search them in Google and look for the minecraft forums post. ( Dont try to look it up straight from minecraftforums.net, you wont find it. its hell.)

For fps++ do the following steps
1. go to minecraftwiki.net
2. search Frame Rate
3. Go to table of contents and click Third Party methods
4. the link to fps++ should be there.

Save all your mods to your .minecraft folder*******

To insert the mods into Magic Launcher, use the following method.
1. Go to Setup
2. Next to the Internal Mods column there should be a button that says Add, click it.
3. click your mod from your .minecraft folder
4. next to the mod name on the right it should say OK, if not I cant help ya, it should ---///work.
5. repeat for the other mod.

Maybe if you install java 64bit it will help

Optifine is usually an FPS-booster/stabilizer. I used to use it when my Macbook ran 10 FPS on average; it really helped keep a steady, high FPS.

What IS your Fps? No matter how good your machine may be, it may have viruses that will cause it to slow down. My usual FPS is 3-50. I'm used to an average of 15 fps. 98 was the highest I've ever gotten.

Maybe its Because u got only 1.3 GHZ?? That's kinda not enough to run minecraft you will need atleast 2.0GHZ i think.
