Mac Minecraft Won't Open

So I click on my Minecraft icon on the dock and it simply doesn't open. It shades dark when I click it but goes back to light without opening or bouncing.
Anyone have any idea what to do?

Have you tried restarting your Mac?
Also, you can try re-installing MC.
