Major issues with fps and performance - please help!
Hello there. I hate to make an account just for a problem, I'll more then likely be back since I do play Minecraft on a switch + the pc (If I can ever get this to work) - I have a problem running Minecraft at steady fps or rather steadily at all. It jumps, almost like its choppy, and it was at one point running steady but then chopped shortly after it was running steady - and the domino effect led me to where it is now - 1 - 2 fps.
I need some help getting my potato to a point where it can actually run Minecraft steady. I've tweaked all of the menu settings, even tried allocating more ram in the launcher and it seemed like allocating more ram made it worst, and now it won't even go past 2 fps when I launch into it and a world.
Its weird to me because this pc can run Left 4 Dead 2, Fallout New Vegas, and Stardew Valley at steady frames but not Minecraft? I am asking please and thank you for some light on this matter.
My PC Info:
Windows 10 64 bit
BIOS:1.30
Processor : AMD E-1-1200 APU with radeon hd graphics(2cpus)~1.4GhZ (Also card named AMD radeon Hd 7310 Graphics)
12288MB RAM
3653 MB used , 9989 available
DirectX 12
DAC Type Internal DAC(400mhz)
Approx. Total Memory: 4209mb
Display Memory VRAM: 369 mb
Shared Memory : 3840 mb

I saw some youtube cover a similiar issue some time ago. It could be because your mouse DPI might too much for minecraft to lower. Try to lower it in your mouse software to maybe 100 hertz. I wish you luck.
your cpu is hot garbage
Hi LandedOnMandalore
PaoMan has given some great advice. Left4Dead 2 can run well on your system because it runs on the graphically efficient Source engine. Minecraft Java is the most inefficient game I know. You probably won't need to upgrade if you decide to play Minecraft Bedrock instead. Unlike Java, it renders similarly to most computer games. Unfortunately, mod availability is not as good, but you should enjoy it if you have been happy with Bedrock on the Switch.

It's your integrated graphics
Here's a comparison between your card and an (admittedly high end) newer card:
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2080-vs-AMD-Radeon-HD-7310/4026vsm9174
You'll probably need to play with your render distance turned down to the minimum, or near the minimum with all of the graphics settings on its lowest to get playable FPS out of Minecraft. It is a much more graphically intensive game then people assume.
I'm not doubting your perception - to each their own - but your system is not playing those games you mentioned at what most would consider "playable" FPS. Honestly, I'd be shocked if you got anything above 30 FPS in any of those games on your machine.
It's time for an upgrade.

hi there, ill be happy to try and help.
main thing for minecraft performance is probably the render distance, have you tried lowering that to the lowest amount possible ingame?
