Hi Guys I just made a quick video on how to make a Minecraft server on Ubuntu. You can view it here:

Many servers such as the Hive (who use OVH as mentioned in the video) use Linux to host there servers because it brings many benefits.
These could Include:
- Servers can often be cheaper (On OVH 2GB of ram is £2.50)
- More control, you can add other side projects like websites, VPN, teamspeak etc...
- More stable than a home connection (more often).
There are some disadvantages though:
- Linux can often seem to be complicated (I don't find it complicated but I can see why some people do)
- No one to go to if you get it wrong (Well there's me)
