I have it in my files, but when I try to start it, the program says that I do not have a "terrain.png" in my minecraft server.jar, just that I do not have a server, my minecraft is 1.5.1.
Does anyone know how do I do?

(I want to use MCEdit in single player)

Well you want to use MC-Edit in singleplayer.... emmm That should not matter since its an external program, not a mod. Do you have the latest version of mc-edit installed? Cuz i dont have any problems at all running it for my singleplayer worlds.

I'm just using the default texture, but still does not work, and I have no idea why this

What does not work? I *might* be able to figure it out if you tell me what exactly isn't working.

It should work anyways. If everything is empty, then go into minecraft and change your texture pack to default. I use mcedit all the time in 1.5.1. Also, the reason it says you don't have a terrain.png in your minecraftserver.jar is because of two things: 1. 1.5 got rid of the terrain.png in favor of the individual textures. 2. Since minecraft 1.3, the singplayer has run off of the minecraftserver.jar. This was done so that LAN multiplayer could be added. Since singleplayer runs using the server.jar, when you open it to lan, it will broadcast just like a server.
