Messed up Chat HELP!?
Someone please help, I really need help right now. I tried posting a question on Yahoo Answers but it's all screwed up and says it's servers are messed up. I can't see any kind of chat at all, when I press T, the chat thing where you type your message comes up, but when I press enter I can't see it, I can't see what other people write either. I just can't see any messages at all. It's really frustrating someone please help, my chat thing in settings is set to Shown but it still doesn't work. I've been waiting for help on many websites now and nothing seems to help.

Yeah it is set to Chat: Shown. But I still can't see any chat for some reason.
Go to chat settings
'ESC' Options -> Multiplayer Settings -> Then 'Chat:' Click that
Click it until it says 'Chat:Shown'
Then that should sort it out. If not, them i'm not sure what's going on. Try pressing 'F1'

As I said earlier, F1 is not the problem, I can still see my item, and hand and things. I turned off and on my computer multiple times so that doesn't work. I reinstalled Minecraft multiple times also. And last, the opacity is 100% and it still doesn't work. Thanks anyways guys..
Turn your opacity up.
Make the OPACITY 100%!
How to simply answer any "Minecraft Help" forums:
1.) Try restarting Minecraft
2.) Delete the Minecraft source, ( of course saving your maps and all)
3.) Clear Java cache. (Only if none of the solutions worked, although I highly doubt this has anything to do with your problem)

Have you tried restarting minecraft? (or your computer if you wanna go that far)
f1 is the only thing I can imagine

Hey guys thanks for all the help. It don't own any of the servers so I don't know all of the plugins. And also, there is no text in offline singleplayer either so it can't be my internet. And my chat is also set to shown.
Can you post your plugins? They might be the issue.
Go to ->options->multiplayer settings->chat and make it "shown"

Dude they already said they have it set to shown, But Your chat may be having major lag, or Your internet is lagging.
Um, it's not F1 because I can still see my sword and everything, it's just the chat that's not showing up. And also it's not working on every single server. I can't see chat or commands on every server I go on.

Is it on a specific server or same thing on all? Im thinking either the server is really slow or your internet connection is slow.
