My bestfriend and i want to play minecraft minigames together but he can't log onto most servers because his username is "more then 16 letters long" even though it is the same number count as mine. i was wondering if anyone knows a way he can log onto his minecraft account without having to use his email like mojan says he has to.

If you're having all this trouble and really don't feel like logging on with an email, ask your friend if he'd rather just make another account with a shorter name. I know it sounds dumb having 2 accounts, but that way if you get banned you can either A: Get revenge or B: pretend like nothing happened and continue playing that server. Hope this helped you and i'm sorry if not.

I own two personal accounts and I can agree it's very helpful. Alts, not so much especially with the fact that the owners can change them back easily.
