Minecraft 1.4.4 black screen
I just updated minecraft to 1.4.4 and now it gives me a black screen, when I log in, it immediately goes to a black screen. I tried force updating, removing the .minecraft folder, getting a new launcher and I'm pretty desperate now. Can anyone help?

I use 100% vanilla minecraft and just updated my java, still it gives me a black screen
I've had the same problem and my Java [i]is[i] up to date. Do you use HD texture packs? Because i've just solved the problem with my computer, some sort of conflict with McPatcher once i told it to unpatch the jar it didn't blackout. But that means no hd packs hope this helps
Try updating your JAVA and making sure you have enough RAM availible (Not too many programs running) when starting minectaft.
