Minecraft Black Screen

So I want to have the mods that Voltz have since voltz wont work no matter what i do. I installed forge and when I go to launch the game, I just get a black screen. Please Help Me!!!!!

A mod not working is generally caused by one of three things:
1. You did not delete the meta.INF file in your minecraft .jar folder. Simple fix--go back and delete it.
2. You are not using the correct version of the mod for your Minecraft. Most mods have different downloads for different versions of Minecraft, and some do not support the latest snapshots (only stable releases). Be sure you have the correct version of the mod installed for the version of Minecraft you're running.
3. There are compatibility issues between mods. Question, did you have any mods downloaded before you downloaded Voltz? It's possible some of them are conflicting with it. Your best bet would be to download a fresh .jar of the latest stable release of MC and install it there or get a program like MagicLauncher to manage your mods.

Ummm....to remove the black screen force update and did you remove meta-inf?
