MInecraft Cannot Find Path

I recently downloaded the newest Java, and all the sudden,Minecraft stopped working. I honestly don't know the current version numbers of java because I'm a complete idiot, but all I can tell you is that I'm using a Windows 8 and that the error I recieve when I try to open Minecraft is:
