My Minecraft client is broken Please Help
Ok so on Thursday I updated my MC client to 1.5, well I saw in my favorite server's forum that they were not compatible with 1.5 yet and o play you could re download the 1.4 jar and play just fine. Well I did and it worked great. Then I logged of and wanted to mes around with 1.5 again, I though it would be no problem to just switch back. I was wrong, now it just showsthe loading screen which has been "loading" for about 12 hours now. And the background just recently turned black. Try Re installing minecraft all together as in all the files and anything to do with minecraft and backup the worlds you want
Thanks so much I tried to re download minecraft but i didnt think about deleting the whlole file! Thanks so much!
Try force updating
If that doesn't work, then try deleting your Bin folder
If that doesn't work, backup all your saves and your jar in-case you have mods. Then try deleting the entire .minecraft folder, and re-install the entire game.
