Hello everyone, Im having this problem from a while now, and i dont seem to find anything like it in the internet.The problem is that when i install minecraft it launches and works perfectly, the bad part starts when i close it.My computer goes nuts and the entire windows needs to be reinstalled in order for the computer to work.My fingers itch i wanna play but im afraid to install it, please help.PP sorry for poor English i dont use it in my everyday life.

Most viruses, If programmed correctly hide away from formats, It can happen, happened to me in the past, That's why it's best to install a new hard drive.
When a format happens the system runs through the entire hard drive and marks every piece of data as deleted(That happens when you delete files from the recycle bin too) that means if new data need to be written to the drive they will overwrite the marked-as -deleted ones no file can persist after a format unless a software runs an algorithm that is able to restore parts of the files but most of the time it fails as it might have gotten overwritten there are some programs you can run that run through the entire hard drive and completely wipe everything(I mean WIPE not just mark as deleted).

Installing drivers from Windows update are "Generic" meaning they willw ork with any system, unfortunately, they don't use OpenGL, go to your manufacturers website and find the right one for your system.
i suggest getting a linux system and starting up ur computer from that and install java and see if it does the same thing if not then back up all your IMPORTANT data and get a windows install disc and then completely wipe ur hdd/ssd then re install windows back onto it, dont try anything if u dont have any idea on what i just said, follow at your own risk

I am premium, i taught it was from the old launcher but it still happens with the new one, that happens since 1.4.7 (and i may not be right) but i think they made some kind of change to the entire way minecraft works back at 1.4.7

How would that help or hinder the problem -_-
He/she might be a cracked user and the minecraft that he/she downloaded may be full of viruses
might not be minecraft. Might be a virus.
It still happens after Reinstall windows and Format the entire hard drive, whitch makes me think its something to do with hardware.
