My world apparently takes up too much space? Look in desc, just please.

Whenever I click on singleplayer with "The World" in my saves folder minecraft crashes. Looking into the error code, it says that I still have space leftover. By taking out "The World" of my saves folder, I can open up the singleplayer menu. Just wondering if I'm supposed to buy something or what?
