Minecraft Custom item Trades Help Needed
I am having trouble with villager trades on my minecraft bukkit server. I want players to have to have a custom named piece of paper to buy something from a villager. Here is how it should work. I have a piece of paper named ration ticket. You give this paper to a villager for some food or something. What I am trying to prevent is people using normal, unnamed paper. You can still used normal unnamed paper on the villager. This is really annoying, so how do I fix this problem?

Actually, try using hoppers, if you want i could come onto your server and help you build it, its way too complicated to say it here, but ill happily come on and help

Even if the paper is named, you can trade with normal paper. It is unchangeable..Sorry..
I realised this after I posted my reply before
Why not use block 34 (piston extension) for the villager trades. It isn't obtainable without a member of staff rationing them out.

Oh, its on a server, derp, well im not sure if there a plugin, otherwise your screwed
If that is the case, find or ask someone to to write a plugin, as you say it is a Bukkit server
I hope your using sethblings shop filter, just have the named paper in the chest, then run the filter, sethbling shows how to use the filter as well.
ITS A SERVER. Anyone can still use NORMAL PAPER. Is that clear enough? I want them to only be able to use named custom paper.
What he was trying to say is you rename the paper, using an anvil, to the "Ration Ticket". You then run the filter, and distribute tickets as needed.
I know how to do it. After that process, people can still use NORMAL paper.
