I was trying to download a map, but when I tried searching for the .minecraft folder, it said it doesn't exist!
Keep in mind that my minecraft works fine.
EDIT: Nevermind, I got in useing the resource packs option.

well it obviously does then
default .minecraft locations
C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming
if its not there you have manually installed it somewhere else
how to open it super easy> open minecraft,go to options press "resource packs" press "open resource pack folder" and navigate back by 1
